Observe Wildlife and Explore Real Florida Wilderness

See for yourself why they call this the Nature Coast! Our kayaking tours offer a personal experience that connects you to the last undeveloped waterways left in our area. These adventures are both educational and unforgettable. Every tour is different with diverse varieties of wildlife, native plants, and scenic landscapes.

 Chassahowitzka Wildlife

Chassahowitzka River is the most wild and primitive river in Homosassa, surrounded by 35,000 acres of protected lands. See lots of wildlife: Otters, Manatees, Bald Eagles, and more! Paddle through crystal clear waters and discover hidden springs.

 Scenic Sunset

Unforgettable experience on the Chassahowitzka River! Nothing beats a scenic sunset paddling through the palm trees! After the sun dips below the horizon, the sky holds a natural glow- your eyes adjust to the fading light, making for a comfortable paddle back.

 Cypress Forest

Paddle through a lush natural canopy of cypress trees, surrounded by aquatic plants and springfed waters. Here we'll spot fish, turtles, and wading birds: Limpkins, Herons, and more. Smell balsam and cedar in the air. Immersive experience on the Withlacoochee River.

 Gulf Hammock

This is the most primitive kayaking tour we offer, taking us to see some of the oldest cedar and cypress trees left on the Nature Coast. It hosts a variety of aquatic plants and wildlife. Learn the rich history of this area, and get a feel of what the "Old" Florida felt like.

 Rivers to Gulf

Explore the unique transition from salt marsh and mangrove islands in the Gulf, to the freshwater tributaries that sustain cypress and palms all in one place. You never know what wildlife you'll see: dolphins feeding, lots of birds including Roseate Spoonbills.

 Withlacoochee Wildlife

Discover a 224 acre-uninhabitated island that is host to a variety of wildlife: herons of all kinds, deer, alligators, and turtles. Cypress trees and their "bald knees" line the edges of this outstanding waterway. Such a scenic and peaceful paddle in the Withlacoochee State Forest.

 Pirates Cove

Exciting kayaking adventure in Crystal River. We'll explore the mangrove covered barrier islands and saltmarsh tributaries of the St. Martin’s Marsh Aquatic Preserve! You never know what we'll see when it comes to coastal wildlife: dolphins, osprey, seaturtles, and more. Learn and observe!

 Manatee Observation

Kayak alongside manatees in their natural habitat. This is a small, personal tour, on a much less crowded waterway. Soak up the lush and primitive beauty of the springs. Our local guides are passionate about sharing their knowledge of the river and these special winter visitors.

 Mason Creek

Educational exploration on the tributaries of Homosassa River. Learn about the unique history of Homosassa Springs while paddling through salt marsh tributaries and barrier islands covered in mangroves. Great opportunities to see Bald Eagle, Dolphins, Osprey, and more!

 Full Moon

Observe wildlife catching the last rays of sunshine, as we paddle down river towards the sunset. You never know what we'll see. When we reach our destination we'll kick back, relax, and watch the Full Moon rise above the palms. This breathtaking and serene experience is truly unforgettable.

Let the moonlight guide the way!

 Astronomy

 Bioluminescence

Look up and spot visible planets, constellations and shooting stars! Minimal light pollution on this river allows you to see so much with the naked eye. Our astronomy kayaking tours are exclusively planned around seasonal meteor showers and astronomical events. Learn about the night sky on this unforgettable journey.

This unforgettable excursion is offered during the warmest parts of July-September when the bioluminescence plankton are most visible and active.  These glowing waterways will leave

you in amazement. As you paddle through the bay, spot fish and dolphins zooming by.
