Meteor Shower Kayaking

There are several windows of opportunity to see shooting stars in Florida each year. The Geminids Meteor Shower is the most visible, and reliable, occurring every December. Each season has at least one visible meteor shower.

New Moon Astronomy Tours

Every month, the skies are at their darkest during the New Moon, allowing you to see more constellations & planets then usual. The Chassahowitzka River has very little light pollution & provides panoramic views of these starry skies. 

Space X & NASA Events

Once in awhile, we get the chance to witness a Space-X Rocket Launch or NASA Fly-By from our direct line of sight in Homosassa. Typically happens during our sunset & astronomy kayaking tours, and can be planned for if interested.

Starlit Waterways Kayaking Tours

Spot Shooting Stars & Constellations! Learn all about the night sky on this unique and unforgettable kayaking adventure. We’ll glide through the calm waters, taking in the late-night sounds of nature under starry skies. Minimal light pollution on the Chassahowitzka River lets us easily spot constellations, shooting stars, and planets. We plan these events around upcoming meteor showers and new moons (when skies are clearest).
