About the event
Hog Island is a 224-acre uninhabited island formed by two branches of the river diverge and reunite, accessible only by kayaks. The Withlacoochee River is a designated Outstanding Florida Waterway flowing through the Withlacoochee State Forest. Paddle through a winding forest of bald cypress trees and their unique "knees" showing off the true essence of wild Florida.
