This is a unique twilight kayak adventure on the Chassahowitzka River! As we paddle down river we will see a beautiful display of colors after the sun sets through the palm trees and sawgrass.
We hangout at a primitive area where it opens up and we have a great view of the night sky to watch for shooting stars!!!
This year's Leonids meteor shower is predicted to be a decent display.
We also learn about the different constellations, planets and how the native indians and sailors used the night sky as a calendar and for navigating at night.
You never know what kind of surprises and wildlife we will see and hear along the way! Lightning bugs, Owls, frogs singing and much more!
This is an adventurous night time kayak tour.
It is not suitable for inexperienced kayakers and children under 14.
Kayaks and all the gear is included. We outfit our kayaks with lights for safety and navigating at night.
