About the event
( Seasonal: July - September. ) Summer
Bioluminescence is a rare reaction created by a micro plankton organism that will glow when it's disturbed by a wave breaking or a splash in the water at night!!! The faster you paddle or splash around, the brighter they will be which makes this a really fun and unique experience!!!
We often will see dolphins, manatees and big fish swim by and light up the water creating quite a display! Almost like an underwater meteor shower of bluish green streaks! This is truly an incredible experience!
Bioluminescence occurs widely in marine waterways in the summertime typically when the temperature is at its peak and the water is calm. The best time see them is near a Full Moon. However they can be bright all month.
We recommend booking in advance. Limited availability. Fills up super quick!
We will only be doing these seasonal events Tuesdays & Wednesday evenings. Weekends are out of the question due to large crowds, traffic and limited parking.
$65 Per Person ~ 2 Hours
Time: 8:30pm
Please be early to ensure parking.
The Kayak and all equipment is included. We outfit our kayaks with lights for nighttime navigation and safety.
