There was a time when we were lucky enough to experience bioluminescence here on the Nature Coast. During New Moon nights, the water would glow with each paddle stroke. Fish moved like sparks beneath the surface, and soft trails of blue light followed our kayaks through the dark. Over the years, environmental conditions have changed, and sightings on the Gulf Coast have become increasingly uncommon, if not rare. Because of this, we are no longer offer bioluminescence tours.

Our Full Moon events take place once a month, year round, and offer a different kind of magic on the water. Paddling under the moonlight allows you to experience the river in a quieter, more reflective way, as the moon illuminates the water and surrounding landscape.
