Manatees are the star of the show here on the Homosassa River during the winter time! So bundle up and let us take you out to observe them! We get you up close to see the manatees in the wild and tell you all about their natural behaviors and why they depend on our beautiful rivers and springs to survive! On our cruise we will pass by the Old Homosassa Water Tower, learn some history of the area and see the diversity of plants, wildlife and the beautiful blue waters flowing from the head spring located inside the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park! Manatee season runs November - February. * This is the best time to see them here in abundance! * We realize that getting in the water is not for everybody. This is a great alternative to swimming or kayaking with manatees!!! This is the perfect outing for families of all ages! To get the most out of your fun day, we highly recommend visiting the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife. Here you can walk down into an underwater aquarium to see a 1st magnitude spring called “ Fishbowl “ where millions of gallons of beautiful clear water and fish surround you! *Book online in advance!
