Service Description

We show you the entire river from start to finish. The diversity and transition of the habitats is amazing! You will see why we are called the " Nature Coast ". First stop is the head spring area just outside the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park, where millions of gallons of clear fresh water comes out of the ground every day. We tell you all about the springs and aquifer that makes up this diverse river system. Here we could see manatees, otters, alligators, birds, fish, turtles and much more! Then we head down river with the flow of the river all the way out to the estuaries of the Gulf of Mexico where we are very likely to see dolphins and other marine life! Along the way we will go around the famous Monkey Island. We tell you the interesting story of how the spider monkeys got there. This is a very scenic cruise!
