Starlit Waterways Astronomy Kayak Tour

Come out and paddle with us to learn about our night sky and look for shooting stars. This is a unique twilight guided kayak adventure on the Chassahowitzka River. We'll also very likely see wildlife, lightning bugs and hear frogs along the way.

About the event
Immerse yourself in the late night sounds of the Chassahowitzka River, as we look towards the sky for shooting stars, constellations, and planetary alignments.
We plan these kayaking tours on the peak nights of our annual meteor showers for the best chance to see the most!
We will be paddling after nightfall. It's recommended that you are experienced with kayaking, and comfortable navigating a waterway after dark.
$50 per person for this 2.5 hour excursion.
