About the event
This paddle is unique in that we start on the more residential side of the river, until Captain Jodi takes us off the beaten path through a secluded side tributary that opens up to the Lake. Cedars, Cypress, and lots of aquatic plants. This paddle starts off on Withlacoochee River and takes us to the backwaters of Lake Rousseau. This is an important rookery for migrating birds, and a great place to see Fall colors.
