About the event
Journey down the Chassahowitzka River during the golden hour, where we will see a variety of wildlife enjoying the last rays of sunshine. As the sunsets, we'll immerse ourselves in our scenic surroundings while we watch the Full Moon rise above the palm trees. As we follow the moonlight back up river, we take in the sights and sounds of barred owls, lightning bugs, and frogs. Our tour departs one hour before sunset, and lasts approximately two hours, giving you plenty of time to unwind and connect with the landscape. Many nocturnal surprises are found along the way, including lightning bugs, owls, bullfrogs, and otters. Our local guides are full of knowledge about the moon phases and visible constellations.
