Meteor Shower River Cruise

Don’t miss out on this special night time Meteor Shower River Cruise on one of our spacious and comfortable pontoon boats named River Life I & II.
We will cruise down river as the sun is setting to the Gulf Of Mexico where we’ll get a great view of the sky. You never know what kind of surprise and wildlife we will see on the way out including dolphins, manatees, bald eagles and more!

On our way back up river we will be watching for shooting stars to put on a dazzling display!!! We plan these cruises around the peak night of all our annual meteor showers for the best chance to see the most. You will learn what causes meteor showers. We also learn about the different constellations and how the native indians and sailers used the night sky for navigating. This is a adventurous and educational interpretive cruise!

Meteor Shower Kayak Tour

This is a specialized paddle down the Chassahowitzka River! We will see the sunset through the palm trees within a diverse natural swamp hammock in a primitive area of the river. You never know what kind of surprises and wildlife we will see paddling down river including dolphins, manatees, otters, bald eagles and more!

Before we head back up river we will stop where it opens up and we have a great view of the night sky to watch for shooting stars to put on a dazzling display!!! We plan these paddles on the peak night of all our annual meteor showers for the best chance to see the most. You will learn what causes meteor showers.
We also learn about the different constellations, planets and how the native indians and sailers used the night sky as a calendar and for navigating at night.

This is a adventurous and educational interpretive night time kayak tour. It is not recommended for first time kayakers and small children.
Kayaks and all equipment is included. We outfit our kayaks with the appropriate lights for safety and navigating at night.

Full Moon River Cruise

This is a specialized boat ride down the Homosassa River on one of our spacious and comfortable pontoon boats, River Life I & II. We will see the sunset as we are heading out to the Gulf of Mexico along with the amazing scenery downriver and likely  even see dolphins before it gets dark! There’s no saying what other types of wildlife and surprises we may see on this adventure!!!

Then as we head back up river we will see a big beautiful full moon light up the sky shorty after sunset!!! 
We will also learn about constellations, planets and how the native Indians and sailors used the night sky as a calendar and to navigate.

Full Moon Kayak Tour

Don’t miss out on this special night time sunset & full moon guided kayak adventure!

An experienced tour guide will take you down Chassahowitzka River to see the sunset through the palm trees within a diverse natural swamp hammock. 
Then we will see a big full moon rise as we head back up river as we hear owls and frogs in the background. 

We will be kayaking an area of the river where it is primitive and the guide will give a nature interpretation about the moon, how it effects wildlife as we look for gator eyes, raccoon eyes and bull frog eyes along the river bank.
You will also learn about some of the constellations and how the native Indians and sailors would use the night sky as a calendar and to navigate.

Kayaks and all equipment is included.
Kayak are fitted with lights for night time navigation and safety.

​Bioluminescense Kayak Tour

Join us for this unique and colorful bioluminescence kayak paddle on the intercoastal Tampa Bay waterways!

Bioluminescence micro organisms occurs widely in marine waterways in the summertime typically when the temperature is at its peak and the water is calm.

The bioluminescent organisms will glow when it's disturbed by a wave breaking or a splash in the water at night!!! 
The faster you paddle or splash around, the brighter they will be which makes this a really fun and unique experience!!!

Last year we had an amazing experience of a manatee swimming by and the disturbance of the tail lit up the water super bright! We even saw several big fish that swam by and lit up quite a display in the water. This is truly an incredible and unique experience!
