* Manatee Season * November 1st - March 1st One of the best ways to get close to manatees is by kayaking with them! On this one of a kind tour we take you kayaking on the Chassahowitzka River to see manatees and lots of wildlife! This is the most primitive and wild river left in the area! We focus our attention on the manatees that call this river home in the winter time! The best time to see them is when it is cold. So dress warm and be ready for an amazing experience seeing and learning about manatees!!! We educate you about the river’s history, ecology, springs and characteristics of a manatee! You get an up close and personal look of their natural behavior in the wild. We will paddle by some beautiful crystal clear springs on this adventure!
