Citrus County Parks and Rec Expo 2026

This weekend we took part in the 3rd Annual Citrus County Parks and Recreation Expo at the Citrus Springs Community Center. It was great connecting with families, outdoor enthusiasts, and community members while learning about the many ways to connect with nature, and stay active, around Citrus County.

If you missed the fun, here is a quick recap: The expo featured a wide range of local organizations, small businesses, and conservation groups. Guests visited each exhibitor to collect passport stamps and earn prizes along the way. Participating groups included What the Fox, Art of Fire Studio, Nature Coast Lady Anglers, Captain Katie Jo, Florida Conservation Corps, Florida Forever Back Country Horsemen, Cayla’s Coats, Gulf Coast Manatee Homeschool, Always Near Home Care, World Drum Circle, Florida Paddling Trails Association, & many more.
